Pricing varies greatly according to Breed , size of dog, length of time of groom, condition of coat , and behaviour of the dog.

Here is an estimate. All prices include nail trim and cologne
Matted dogs are charged an extra fee of $10-20 depending on breed size

WHERE IT BEGAN

A1 Wash and Grooming began in November 1999 but my love of dogs goes back to aged two, when I owned my first dog, a Corgi named Sandy.

After that it was Cocker Spaniels that became huge part of my life after that, thanks to my parents and grandparents who always had Cockers in their lives.

In my early 20s, I owned two Border Collies; after travelling in my mid-20s I returned to buy my first Cocker Spaniel, Jemma.

My love for the breed grew, and since then I have owned, bred and exhibited more than 15 Cocker Spaniels. I have owned some beautiful Cockers who have earned their Australian Champion title, and also I am proud that dogs I have bred have won quite a few classes at the Royal Melbourne Show. The sculpting of a Cocker to be ready for the ring really became a passion for me.

My love of grooming Cockers was so great, I decided to start a grooming business, which allowed me to work from home while I raised a family. Twelve years later, I have developed a wonderful client base and I am still loving what I do. To compliment my grooming business I also became a qualified veterinary nurse, working up to 20 hours a week.

These days I am full time as a groomer – I groom all breeds, but specialising in spaniels – and, as you can see by the photos, dogs are very well cared for while on my premises and in my care; most of them come down the driveway with tails wagging and can't wait to get a hug from their Auntie Andy.
